Commissioners adopt Resolution 2025-02 to support Section 5311/5339 rural transit grant application

The Dubois County Board of Commissioners unanimously adopted Resolution No. 2025-02 on April 21, 2025 to support applications for federal rural transit funding under Section 5311/5339 of the Federal Transit Act. Becky Guthrie of Ride Solutions submitted the request.
The resolution designates Four Rivers Resource Services/DSI Services, Inc. and Southern Indiana Resource Services, Inc. to coordinate and provide rural public transit services within the county and authorizes the Southern Indiana Development District to execute and file an application on behalf of Four Rivers Resource Services/DSI Services, Inc., to furnish additional information to INDOT as required, and to execute 5311 grant contracts and agreements for 5311-funded rural transit services in Dubois County.
The resolution takes effect upon adoption; the minutes record the board adopted the measure on April 21, 2025.
