The Dubois County Commissioners handled several administrative items at their March 3 meeting, including a Health Board appointment, plat approval and surplus declarations.
Health Administrator Shawn Werner presented three candidates to replace Dr. Tracy Lorey on the Health Board. After discussion, the commissioners appointed Lisa Flamion, a social worker with the Greater Jasper School Corporation, to the Health Board; her term will expire Dec. 31, 2027. The motion to appoint Flamion was carried unanimously.

County Auditor Sandra L. Morton presented items to be declared surplus, including ambulance defibrillator batteries and multiple computers. The commissioners voted to discard the listed items except for keyboards and mice, which the board approved for donation to anyone who can use them.
Other brief administrative matters included a report that storage space was found for the Veteran Services Office in the Annex basement and that comprehensive plan RFPs have been released with submittals due April 7, 2025.
