Commissioners sign off on warranties, invoices and election certification; hold executive session and adjourn

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved several administrative items on Nov. 18, 2025, including a one‑year HART Extended Warranty for Verity Scan and Verity Scan Writer (Jan. 18, 2026–Jan. 17, 2027) in the amount of $2,700 and Wessel & Co.'s October invoice for CFO services for $10,987.50. Elections Director Linda Doyle presented the Certification of the first signing for the municipal election held Nov. 4, 2025; Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve and execute the Certification of Computation of Election Results and the motion was recorded as carried with 'all in favor.' Chief Tax Assessor Melissa Gordon presented and Commissioner Wible moved to approve the Board of Assessment and Revision of Taxes certification for the 2026 assessment roll to comply with statutory requirements referenced in the minutes.
Commissioners held multiple executive sessions: an earlier special session held Nov. 14 was announced in the opening remarks, and an executive session on Nov. 18 for legal and personnel matters was convened at 10:32 a.m. and ended at 11:48 a.m. The board recessed briefly at 12:05 p.m. to meet with President Judge Meyers at the courthouse to discuss possible uses for the old Treasurer's Office and later met Jennifer Deichert, the new 4‑H Area Educator, with Jeffrey Hackenberg of Penn State Extension for a brief meet and greet.
A letter from Chief Probation Officer Dan Miller about employee retention was reviewed by the board; the transcript records no action on that item. The meeting adjourned at 3:15 p.m.
