County auditors Penny Kipp, Holly Falkosky and Rebecca Kendall presented the auditors' report for the year ending Dec. 31, 2024 at the Nov. 18 Fulton County Board of Commissioners meeting and reported that they had filed the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) report and published notice in the Fulton County News; the full report is available on the county website per the auditors' statement.
Mike Lamb of Wessel & Co. and Fiscal Administrator Sue Reed met with department heads and commissioners for a final budget review. Following that review, commissioners gave verbal approval for the final draft of the 2026 budget to be presented at the Nov. 25 meeting and advertised as the tentative budget for public comment and potential adoption at the next scheduled meeting.
The meeting record also shows a brief Retirement Board session with Jon Cramer of Raymond James via Zoom to review a potential cost‑of‑living adjustment for retirees. Separate Retirement Board minutes were noted as on file.
The transcript does not include the full contents of the audit report in the minutes; commissioners were provided the report and the DCED filing notice and were advised that the full audit is posted on the county website.
