Commissioners approve reappointments, IT contract addenda and administrative banking changes

On technology, the board approved Addenda A, B and C to the Elect IT contract, covering IT staffing and support services, managed backup services, and IT/cyber security awareness and phishing simulations as presented by Nelson Witmer, President/CEO of Elect IT Solutions. Commissioners also approved a TelePlus Protection System Extended Service Agreement (Silver Maintenance Coverage Plan) for $14,040.56, effective Jan. 1, 2026 through Dec. 31, 2026; that motion was moved by Commissioner Hann.
Financial and administrative housekeeping included approval to execute Community State Bank documents to add and remove authorized check signers as the Treasurer's Office transitions, and authorization of changes to operating procedures for the Treasurer's Office presented by Interim County Treasurer Amy Bishop. The board also approved vendor invoices for pension-related actuarial and advisory services (Conrad Siegel Inc. invoices for $5,700 and $3,844.25) to be paid from plan assets.
These actions support county governance continuity during an ongoing Treasurer's Office transition and address county IT and security service coverage for the upcoming year. The meeting record does not list objection or separate recorded votes; actions were recorded as carried unanimously.
