Washington County approves multiple property-sale resolutions and 2024 schedules in consent agenda

The Washington County Board of Commissioners approved a multi-item consent agenda at its Dec. 4 meeting that included several real-property resolutions and routine administrative schedules.
Items approved included tax refunds and releases, the 2024 regular meeting schedule for the commissioners and the 2024 county holiday schedule, the FY2024–25 budget calendar, and resolutions concerning the sale or acceptance of real property: RESO 2023-039 (411 Brinkley Ave., Plymouth), RESO 2023-040 (413 Brinkley Ave., Plymouth), RESO 2023-041 (approval/acceptance of sale of property at 403 Hortontown Rd., Roper) and RESO 2023-042 (approval/acceptance of sale of property at 203 West Avenue, Plymouth). The Washington County Water Shortage Response Plan (RESO 2023-043) and a Cooperative Extension memorandum of understanding were also approved.
Commissioner John C. Spruill had asked to pull Item 2(i), the Non-Governmental Facility Use Policy, from the consent agenda for discussion in Closed Session; the remaining items were approved as amended by a unanimous vote.
