Ordinance No. 6 amends Title 20, Chapter 1 of the Soddy‑Daisy Municipal Code (the city’s Air Pollution Control Ordinance) to incorporate certain federal regulations and make housekeeping changes. Commissioner Shipley moved approval; Commissioner Keith seconded. The motion passed with a unanimous vote.
The board also adopted Ordinance No. 7, accepting Bent Creek Drive and Sugar Leaf Lane as publicly dedicated city streets. Commissioner Keith made the motion and Commissioner Penney seconded; the vote was unanimous.
Under Ordinance No. 8 the board accepted Stonegate Way, Avery Place and Jaiden Court as publicly dedicated city streets. Commissioner Shipley moved approval; Commissioner Keith seconded. The motion carried unanimously.
The mayor was listed as absent on the meeting record. The measures were taken during the regular meeting’s old‑business portion and recorded as second and final readings with unanimous “ayes.” No amendments or dissenting comments were recorded on the minutes.
The meeting adjourned at 7:22 p.m.; Recorder Burt Johnson signed the record.
