Mayor Everett confirmed the commission would not act until that recommendation is received.
The proposed ordinance was presented as a first reading; no formal motion or vote on the substance took place at the Oct. 19 meeting. Commissioners did not discuss specific language of the amendment during the session, and no timeline for the Planning Commission’s recommendation was announced.
