Franklin County received ten proposals in response to its request for an HR consultant to conduct a workplace culture assessment. On April 1 commissioners moved to have the HR Director screen bids for whether they meet the county’s criteria and to schedule interviews of qualifying candidates.
Bids listed in the transcript included Barkwell Group ($12,000), Roman Three Operations ($14,500 plus travel), Steven Francek ($23,975), Abbott Advantage ($25,000), BMC Management Consultants ($25,000), MGT Consulting ($31,500), Clarity Scientific ($29,192), Mejorando Group ($29,250) and Simplify ($39,625). The county will verify proposals meet procurement criteria before interview scheduling; Commissioners Tom Skolfield and Tom Saviello requested to be part of the interview panel, and Administrator Amy suggested full commission participation if feasible.
Motion to have HR screen bids and schedule interviews passed 5–0. The HR Director will report back with a recommended interview list and schedule.
