The board discussed potential acquisition or lease of an additional motor grader and placed the item on the Oct. 15 agenda for further consideration. Commissioners requested two changes to the proposed 2026 budget: add $0.50 bump-up for County Road employee Rachel Grimm and reduce the general fund retirement share from $695,000 to $524,000. A special budget meeting was scheduled for Monday, Oct. 6, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. in the commission board room to finalize those adjustments.
Commissioner Jamee Folk moved to change the Oct. 15 meeting start time from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.; Commissioner Casey Voigt seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 12:21 p.m.
