Mercer County commissioners approve additional repairs to county highway loader

Chairman Gene Wolf called the Mercer County Commission to order at 6:00 p.m. via conference call on Nov. 6, 2025, for a special meeting limited to Highway Department equipment repairs.
Commissioner Jamee Folk moved to approve additional repairs on the Highway Department loader; Commissioner Rick Bauman seconded. All members present voted aye and the motion carried. Present on the call were Commissioners Rick Bauman, Mark Pierce, Jamee Folk, Casey Voigt, Chairman Gene Wolf, Auditor Carmen Reed and Highway Assistant Supervisor Dennis Olheiser. Local reporter Dan Arens of the Hazen Star was absent.
No discussion of funding sources, repair scope, or dollar amounts was recorded in the meeting minutes. The special meeting lasted approximately one minute and was adjourned at 6:01 p.m. The commission’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the boardroom of the Mercer County Government Center in Stanton, North Dakota; meetings can be viewed online at www.mercercountynd.com.
