Grove EDA meeting minutes: routine approvals and capital-project updates

The Grove Economic Development Authority conducted routine business at its Oct. 20, 2025 meeting, approving the Sept. 15 regular meeting minutes and the Purchase Order Register by unanimous votes of the three trustees present.
Trustee Ivan Devitt moved to approve the minutes from Sept. 15, 2025; Trustee Andy Stewart seconded the motion and it passed 3-0. Stewart then moved to approve the Purchase Order Register, Devitt seconded, and that motion also passed 3-0.
Building Inspector Todd Franke provided a brief update on city capital projects, stating that the Fire Station and Police Station projects are on track. Franke also said the Event Center walls were scheduled to be lifted the next morning at 7:00 AM, weather permitting.
Vice-Chairman Mike Lewandowski commented that communication between board members and staff has improved. Trustee Ivan Devitt moved to adjourn at 4:36 PM; Trustee Andy Stewart seconded and the motion carried 3-0. The minutes record no public comments and contain no additional votes or project approvals beyond those noted.
