Grove EDA elects Mike Lewandowski chairman, names Andy Stewart vice-chairman and approves routine items

The Grove Economic Development Authority elected Mike Lewandowski chairman and Andy Stewart vice-chairman and approved routine business at its Nov. 17, 2025, regular meeting, the board recorded.
Vice-Chairman Mike Lewandowski, who presided at the meeting, was elected chairman after Trustee Andy Stewart moved — and Trustee Josh Wilhelm seconded — a motion to elect him. Wilhelm, Stewart and Trustee Ivan Devitt voted in favor; Lewandowski abstained. The motion carried 3-1.
Lewandowski then moved, seconded by Devitt, to elect Trustee Andy Stewart as vice-chairman. The board voted unanimously (4-0) to elect Stewart vice-chairman.
Trustee Ivan Devitt moved, seconded by Stewart, to approve the minutes of the Oct. 20, 2025 regular meeting; the motion passed unanimously. The board also unanimously approved the Purchase Order Register and approved a Notice of Posting for the Grove EDA’s regularly scheduled meetings for the 2026 calendar year.
The minutes note that attached reports were provided by the Building Inspector and the Chamber of Commerce; no verbal staff reports or trustee reports were recorded on the agenda. Board members welcomed newly seated Trustee Josh Wilhelm, who said he was excited to serve on the board.
The meeting convened at 4:00 PM and adjourned at 4:29 PM after Trustee Devitt moved to adjourn and Trustee Stewart seconded. AYE votes on unanimous items were recorded as Wilhelm, Stewart, Devitt and Lewandowski where noted.
