The Washington County Board approved its consent agenda on June 3, which included minutes for May 6 and May 20, tax refunds and releases, RESO 2024-021 approving and accepting sale of real property at 521 Monroe St., JCPC certification standards and membership (Commissioner Tracey A. Johnson noted some blanks in the JCPC list and said names can be added later), and a Facility Use Policy.
Chair Ann C. Keyes presented Ms. Connie Barnes as the June 2024 Employee of the Quarter, describing nearly 20 years of county service and her role as Code Enforcement Officer; Barnes received a certificate and a $50 check. The board also reconvened the Board of Equalization and Review; Tax Administrator Ms. Wilkins reported there were no appeals.
These routine approvals advance administrative housekeeping and ensure county governance items are recorded and implemented.
