Commissioners create WC911 review committee to study dispatch concerns

Commissioner John C. Commissioner Spruill moved to create the WC911 Center Review Committee and use his handout as a guideline; Commissioner Carol V. Phelps seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Staff noted the county will review pay competitiveness for E911 employees and bring information to a future meeting.
Spruill also expressed concerns about a $50,000 solar bond fund and whether the county should hold long-term responsibility for cleanup costs associated with solar projects; staff noted restrictions on uses for the fund may apply.
