Laurel council unanimously approves five resolutions, allocates funds toward new ambulance

The City Council of the City of Laurel on Nov. 25, 2025, unanimously approved five resolutions, including authorization to allocate funds toward the purchase of a new ambulance, and appointed Shane Lacasse to the Emergency Services Committee.

The motions and votes came during a 13-minute regular meeting called to order by Mayor Dave Waggoner at 6:30 p.m. Council members voted 8-0 on each item, with no public comment recorded. The council approved minutes, consent items (including payroll of $278,486.02 for pay period ending Nov. 9, 2025), and received routine board and commission minutes for the record.
