The Madison County Board on April 21 authorized multiple vendor contracts and renewals intended to cover facility utilities, IT staffing and emergency notifications.
The Buildings & Facilities and Finance committees recommended renewal of 24-month natural gas and electric supply contracts for county facilities. The board approved supplier options following committee recommendation and amendments to allow multiple supplier proposals.
The County also authorized a professional services contract with Sierra ITS for network administrator services for the Information Technology department, a not-to-exceed amount of $76,440. The contract was presented by the IT Committee and approved by the full board.
For emergency communications, the board renewed the Code Red Weather Warning Service and On-Demand Notification service (Onsolve, LLC) for May 17, 2021–May 16, 2022 at a contract price of $56,250, to be paid from Emergency Management administrative funds.
All contracts were adopted by roll call with no recorded no votes and will be administered by the respective county departments.
