Among the actions were special‑use permits allowing residents to keep up to seven hens (conditions prohibit roosters and tie the permit to the owner), and time‑limited allowances for mobile homes where the permit is granted for up to five years with an extension process if occupants remain. One petition rezoned a 16.37‑acre tract in Edwardsville Township from R‑2 to Planned Development; another rezoned a 0.2‑acre tract for highway‑business use to allow used‑car and portable‑building sales.
Board approval: The chair reported the Zoning Board of Appeals’ findings and the County Board recorded an aye vote of 26‑0 on the package.
