ADMH rolls out Automated Alabama Certification Program as staffing stabilizes

Hibbard said the Office of Certification Administration (OCA) soft‑launched the Automated Alabama Certification Program (ACAP) on Oct. 31. The automated system is intended to register providers, accept applications and reduce paperwork by providing real‑time status updates and improving accuracy and timeliness. ADMH has begun registering providers and accepting applications through ACAP during the soft launch.
The rollout was presented as an operational improvement with expected efficiency gains; no procurement or contract actions were recorded in the meeting minutes.
