Town Administrator Vicky Rinkerman updated the Town Council on Jan. 20 that the Rock Run Embankment Project is moving toward procurement but that design questions remain. She said a mandatory pre-bid meeting on Jan. 13 was attended by eight contractors who provided feedback related to embankment stabilization and the need to replace a deteriorated pedestrian bridge.
Rinkerman said staff will review potential design alternatives and related cost considerations and return to council with recommended design features and cost estimates. The minutes do not record a formal motion or vote on the project at this meeting.
