Representatives from One Billing Solutions briefed the Boone County Board of Commissioners Feb. 17 on ambulance-billing procedures, rates and recent regulatory changes.
Beth Grassau and Bri Szurpicki of One Billing Solutions presented to the board via Zoom, explaining the process involved in switching billing companies and answering questions about rates and regulatory updates. After discussion, Chairman Jon Lindgren moved to table further discussion on changing ambulance-billing providers until the Feb. 25, 2026 meeting; Commissioner Brian J. Yosten seconded the motion, which passed by unanimous roll call.
The discussion included procedural questions about transitioning billing workflows and compliance with updated ambulance-billing regulations. The board did not adopt any vendor or change during the Feb. 17 meeting and set the item for continued consideration at the Feb. 25 meeting.
