Boone County delays decision on ambulance billing after vendor presentation

After discussion, Chairman Jon Lindgren moved to table further discussion on changing ambulance-billing providers until the Feb. 25, 2026 meeting; Commissioner Brian J. Yosten seconded the motion, which passed by unanimous roll call.
The discussion included procedural questions about transitioning billing workflows and compliance with updated ambulance-billing regulations. The board did not adopt any vendor or change during the Feb. 17 meeting and set the item for continued consideration at the Feb. 25 meeting.
