Laurel Park-Tree Board elects officers for 2026

The Laurel Park-Tree Board approved its Dec. 4, 2025 minutes and elected officers for 2026 during a meeting on Jan. 8.
Richard Klose moved to approve the Dec. 4 minutes; a member identified only as Tom seconded the motion and the board approved the minutes, according to the official record. Klose then nominated Tom Canape for chairman; Brent Edgmond seconded the nomination and Canape was elected chair. Klose nominated Jon Rutt for vice chairman, with Canape seconding; Rutt was elected vice chairman. Klose later nominated Rutt for secretary, seconded by Edgmond, and Rutt was elected secretary.
Attending members listed in the minutes were Irv Wilke, Brent Edgmond, Renee Studiner, Paul Kober, Tom Canape, Richard Klose and Jon Rutt. A guest, Joe Holzwarth, was also recorded as present. The minutes were submitted at the end of the record by Jon Rutt.
The board set its next regular meeting for Feb. 5, 2026 and adjourned at 6:12 p.m.
