Hancock County supervisors approve drainage contract, HVAC pay estimate and outsourcing of HF718 mailings

On a motion by Supervisor Florence (Sis) Greiman, seconded by Supervisor Jerry J. Tlach, the Board approved the Work Proposal & Agreement for miscellaneous small project assignments of general open ditch excavation maintenance for county drainage districts with A-1 Excavating and Drainage, Inc., of Joice. The same motion approved quarterly reports from the Hancock County auditor, recorder and sheriff for the period ending Dec. 31, 2023, and a revised Drainage Work Order form.
Later in the session, on a motion by Supervisor Jerry J. Tlach, seconded by Supervisor Greiman and carried unanimously, the Board approved pay estimate no. 12 for the county HVAC system upgrade with Mechanical Air Systems Co. in the amount of $27,626. The Board also approved outsourcing printing and mailing of HF718 taxpayer notification statements to Mail Services, LLC at a per-statement cost of $0.653.
The minutes record that the motions carried unanimously with the supervisors present voting "Aye." Supervisor Gary Rayhons is listed as chair on the attestation line; the minutes were attested by Michelle K. Eisenman, Hancock County auditor. The Board adjourned at 11:46 a.m. and scheduled its next meeting for Jan. 10, 2024.
