Fulton County commissioners approve payables, appointments and routine business

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on Dec. 16 approved payables totaling $281,921.91 covering multiple funds and approved several routine administrative items and appointments.
Commissioners approved payables dated Dec. 16, 2025, with the General Fund shown as $214,588.09 and the Opioid Settlement Funds at $46,105.21. The board retroactively approved a Momentive Software, Inc. renewal order form for the Fiscal Department at an annual price of $1,660.48 on a motion by Commissioner Steven L. Wible. The board also approved and executed a request for an inmate at the Bedford County Correctional Facility for physician services submitted by the Sheriff's Department.
On motion by Commissioner Randy H. Bunch the board approved and executed an appointment letter for Thomas Peppernick to serve on the Fulton County Industrial Development Authority Board of Directors for a four-year term to expire Dec. 31, 2027. The board approved reappointment letters for Fulton County Agricultural Land Preservation Board members Margie McGuire (Contractor), Paula Shives (Member-at-Large), Thomas Morton (Elected Official) and Daniel Schriever (Member-at-Large) to two-year terms ending Dec. 31, 2027.
The board approved the 2026 Commissioners' meeting dates to be publicly advertised in the Fulton County Newspaper. The minutes also record executive sessions for personnel matters (9:36–9:38 a.m. and 10:52–11:30 a.m.) and note that a DCED Financial Monitoring Interview scheduled for 11:30 a.m. was canceled by DCED, who requested to meet with SEDA COG and the Chief Clerk instead. Chairman Randy H. Bunch moved to adjourn at 11:45 a.m.; the motion carried.
