Fulton County approves IT and maintenance contracts, retirement invoices and multiple reappointments

The Fulton County commissioners approved Elect IT contract addenda, a TelePlus Silver maintenance agreement, two Conrad Siegel invoices for pension services, the 2025 State Food Plan, and a slate of Planning Commission and Conservation District reappointments.
At its Dec. 9 meeting, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved several contracts, professional invoices, and appointments affecting county operations and finance.
The board approved three Elect IT contract addenda — Addendum A (IT staffing and support services), Addendum B (managed backup services) and Addendum C (IT/cybersecurity awareness and phishing simulations) — as presented by Nelson Witmer, President and CEO of Elect IT Solutions. Commissioners also approved a TelePlus Protection System Extended Service Agreement (Silver Maintenance Coverage Plan) for $14,040.56, effective Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2026. Motions on both items passed with all in favor.
Separately, the board approved two invoices from Conrad Siegel Inc.: $5,700 for actuarial services (July–Dec. 2025) to be paid from the Charles Schwab Pension Account, and $3,844.25 for investment advisory services (July 1–Sept. 30, 2025) to be paid from plan assets. HR Administrator Mary Huston submitted the November 2025 Retirement Fund Report, which the board also approved. A Retirement Board meeting with David Lytle was held at 9:15 a.m.; separate minutes are on file.
Commissioners approved Planning Commission reappointments for Paula Shives, James Gress, Jeremy Fletcher and Tim Newman to terms expiring Dec. 31, 2029, and reappointed Russell McLucas to the Conservation District for a four-year term ending Dec. 31, 2029. The board also authorized bank document changes to add or remove authorized check signers due to a transition in the Treasurer's Office and authorized changes to Treasurer's Office operating procedures as presented by Interim County Treasurer Amy Bishop. The board discussed Phase II renovations for the upper level of a newly purchased building on Lincoln Way West; the meeting minutes record the discussion but do not show a final construction vote.
All motions were recorded as approved "All in favor." The meeting adjourned at 11:02 a.m.
