Fulton County kicks off Warfordsburg Senior Center CDBG project, names county America250PA advisor and approves appointments

Commissioners held a CDBG Project Kickoff via Zoom to discuss the Warfordsburg Senior Center Project with SEDA-COG Program Analyst Hanorah Lucas; Building and Maintenance Director Brad Seville and Connie Brode, executive director for Huntingdon/Bedford/Fulton Area on Aging, also attended. The kickoff meeting was advisory and separate minutes are on file.
The board approved and executed a letter authorizing Marty Mettille to serve as Fulton County’s advisor for America250PA events in the county; the letter was addressed to Kelly Leighton, Director of Strategic Partnerships with America250PA. Separately, the Fulton County Association of Township Officials requested permission to plant a commemorative tree on the courthouse lawn to commemorate America250PA; the board approved a request letter submitted by Paula Shives.
Commissioner Wible moved to approve and execute reappointment letters for Conservation District directors Gene Mellott and Mark Knepper. Commissioners also approved an amended Title IV-D Attorney Contract for Domestic Relations, as presented.
The board noted a bid opening for county property where no bids were presented and recorded several administrative approvals and invoices. Separate minutes exist for the Election Board meeting and the Safety Committee meeting noted at the Nov. 25 session.
