Hancock County awards $3 million in road contracts to Rognes Bros. and Heartland Asphalt

The board also adopted Resolution No. 2024-007 awarding two resurfacing projects (FM-C041(139)--55-41 and FM-C041(140)--55-41) for cold-in-place recycling and HMA pavement resurfacing with milling to Heartland Asphalt, Inc. for $2,319,756.47.
Each resolution notes the board followed Code of Iowa requirements for notifications, hearings and letting. The board authorized Jeremy Purvis, P.E., the Hancock County engineer, to execute the contracts on the county's behalf after receiving required contract documents, including the contractor's bond and certificate of insurance.
