Groen explained the county's required budget notice will be published in local newspapers and that a budget statement listing county, school district and city hearing dates, times and levy rates will be mailed to every household and property owner in the county; she said the mailings would go out by the end of the week.
The board did not take formal budget action at the March 11 meeting; the discussion was recorded as part of the workshop and the auditor will continue work on confirming the proposed reductions.
