Riherd reported there have been several bridge fires over the past week. The board discussed questions of responsibility and repair costs; Chairman Rusty Eddy requested the topic be returned to the agenda in two weeks for further discussion. Riherd also said a resolution regarding Homeland Security and use of the county's UEI number will be presented next week, and previewed an upcoming five-year plan he will present to the board—Supervisor Greg Barnett suggested additional areas to include in that plan.
