At its Jan. 13, 2026 meeting the Lemon Grove Governing Board approved multiple routine and substantive items, recognized student work, and introduced a new administrator.
Among actions the board approved were: updated Board Policy 0510 (School Accountability Report Card); School Accountability Report Cards (SARCs); Resolution 2025‑26‑15 designating an authorized agent for county warrants; updated Board Policy 3350 (Travel Expenses) with guidance to emphasize onboarding and education; and the district’s 2025 Facilities Master Plan. Most action items passed unanimously.
The board also completed a broad consent agenda covering minutes, personnel actions, warrants, gifts, contract ratifications and purchase orders, a clinical affiliation agreement with West Coast University Inc., the Williams Settlement annual visit summary, and a contract amendment for Panorama Solara.
Superintendent Marianna Vinson introduced Susanna Luna as assistant principal at the Early Childhood Education Center. The board recognized Monterey Heights STEAM Academy students and staff for scale‑model community pavilions and named five student artists whose work will appear on the district’s holiday cards.
The meeting listed future agenda items including a Facilities Master Plan deep dive and a 6th Grade Camp update and adjourned at 8:24 p.m.
