Lemon Grove governing board approves safety plan updates, resolutions, contracts and certifies bond election proceedings

The Lemon Grove governing board used its Feb. 11 meeting to approve multiple policies, resolutions and contracts, including updates to the district's safety planning and procurement rules and a certification of the November 2024 bond election proceedings.
The board voted to approve the district's Comprehensive School Safety Plans. It then approved updates to Board Policy/Administrative Regulation 0450 (Comprehensive Safety Plan) to add an additional entity contact for the City of Lemon Grove and to include the City Manager on the contact list. The motion to update BP/AR 0450 was moved by Cheryl Robertson and seconded by Dorinda Miller; the board recorded the vote as unanimous.
Other actions included approval of Board Policy/AR 3516 on Emergencies and Disaster Preparedness; adoption of Resolution 2024-25-17 to implement the Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Procedures; adoption of Resolution 2024-25-18 to adopt informal bidding procedures under the Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act; and authorization to join an Education Technology Joint Powers Authority (Resolution 2024-25-21). Each item passed by recorded motion and unanimous vote as listed in the minutes.
The board also adopted Resolution 2024-25-22 certifying all proceedings in the Nov. 5, 2024 General Obligation Bond Election (Measure CC and Measure EE). The consent agenda was approved (items 7.B–7.H, 7.K) and the two consent items pulled earlier for separate votes were approved individually: item 7.I (Contract Approval: Swing Education, Inc.) and item 7.J (Contract Amendment: Ro Health, LLC).
