Organizers told the Emery County Trails Committee that the Dirt Bike Rally planned for April 23–25 will draw roughly 250 riders and about 50 guides and helpers across 18 routes.
Brett White, representing Back Country Pilots, said the event typically fills hotels in Green River and that organizers use the rally as an educational and stewardship opportunity. Josh White, representing the motorized/dirt-bike community, added that participants have submitted substantial comments to the BLM on single-track trails.
Committee members discussed logistics, volunteer coordination and marketing; organizers said the rally has been useful for outreach and trail stewardship in prior years. The event also serves as an avenue to collect trail-use feedback that organizers and the BLM can use in planning.
The committee did not take formal action on the event during the meeting. AnnDee Mead said the Travel Bureau can help circulate event information and the committee discussed ways to integrate the event into broader volunteer and reporting platforms.
