The Big Horn County commissioners voted unanimously Sept. 25 to approve a contract with Vensure HR for investigative human-resources services.
County Attorney Torske presented the proposal and described the scope as impartial, third-party investigations conducted by certified HR professionals. The contract and fee schedule attached to the packet list a one-time fee for an employee-investigation deliverable and describe investigation steps, interview procedures and reporting expectations. Commissioner Larry Vandersloot moved to approve the contract; Commissioner Lawrence Big Hair seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The Vensure HR materials in the packet state the firm will compile interview summaries, a list of witnesses, conclusions and recommendations for client review; the minutes do not record any conditions attached to the approval.
