At its Feb. 12, 2026 meeting the Big Horn County Board of County Commissioners approved Resolution 2026-18 authorizing a quorum of the board to meet with Carbon and Stillwater County commissioners at the MACo midwinter conference, to meet with Stahly Engineering, and to attend the March 3, 2026 Hardin City Council meeting. Commissioner George Real Bird III described the meetings and the board’s intent to attend; Commissioner Larry Vandersloot moved to approve the resolution, the motion was seconded by Commissioner Real Bird and the minutes record unanimous passage.
The resolution lists dates and locations for the meetings: a meeting with Carbon and Stillwater County commissioners on Feb. 11, 2026 at 1223 Mul'lowney Ln., Billings; a meeting with Stahly Engineering on Feb. 17, 2026 at 2817 2nd Ave N, Suite 300, Billings; and attendance at the Hardin City Council meeting on March 3, 2026 at 406 N Cheyenne Ave., Hardin. The resolution directs that public notice be published in conformity with statutory notice requirements.
Separately, the board approved claims listed as 1206 and approved the minutes for Feb. 5, 2026; both motions were seconded and recorded as passing unanimously in the minutes. The meeting adjourned with no public-comment text recorded in the official minutes.
