The Big Horn County Board of County Commissioners approved two quitclaim deeds transferring the county’s interest in two Hardin lots to Holly M. Cannon and Kevin J. Cannon.
Deputy County Attorney Heather Ready told the board the properties were acquired by tax deed sale and listed on the public surplus auction site. Heather M. Ready, Deputy County Attorney, explained the legal forms and property descriptions attached to the deeds before the board considered the motions. Commissioner Larry Vandersloot moved to approve quitclaim deeds L139600 and L139500; Commissioner George Real Bird III seconded the motion, and the minutes record it as passing unanimously.
The attached deed forms indicate Quit Claim Deed L139600 conveys Wagner Subdivision Second Filing, Lot 4, Block 2, and a second deed conveys Wagner Subdivision Second Filing, Lot 5, Block 2, to Holly M. Cannon and Kevin J. Cannon at 903 North Crawford Avenue, Hardin. The minutes include the realty transfer certificates and signatures from the deputy county attorney and the deputy clerk and recorder.
The deed documents are dated in December 2025 and are recorded in the meeting packet attached to the minutes.
