Commissioners appoint Thomas Peppernick to industrial board; reappoint agricultural land preservation members

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a slate of appointments and reappointments at its Dec. 16 meeting.
Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve an Appointment Letter for Thomas Peppernick to serve on the Fulton County Industrial Development Authority Board of Directors for a four-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2027; the motion passed with "All in favor." The board also approved reappointment letters for the Fulton County Agricultural Land Preservation Board: Margie McGuire (Contractor), Paula Shives (Member-at-Large), Thomas Morton (Elected Official) and Daniel Schriever (Member-at-Large), each to serve two-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2027.
Commissioner Bunch also moved to approve the 2026 Commissioners' meeting dates for publication in the Fulton County Newspaper; the board approved that motion.
Separately, the minutes note a brief Retirement Board meeting held at 9:15 a.m. to set the Employee Pension Contribution rate; those Retirement Board minutes are recorded separately and the pension rate set is not specified in the county minutes.
