Charles Mix County appoints Joel and Mike Kotab to Emergency Management roles, schedules hazard mitigation meeting

During the meeting both Kotabs briefed the board on an upcoming public Hazard Mitigation Plan update scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Thursday, March 12, in the Courthouse Commission Room. The minutes note that the Hazard Mitigation Plan update will take place in the commission room but do not record details of the plan or proposed mitigation measures.
The board took no separate budget action related to the appointments during the session. The emergency management items were presented as routine personnel and planning matters and carried by unanimous vote.
