The staff report stated the use is compatible with surrounding uses, that the activity is normally associated with the requested classification, and that the town sent notice to neighboring properties on February 20. Staff also noted that the item will appear on the town council agenda on March 10 for further consideration.
Commissioner Carson moved to approve the specific‑use permit; Commissioner Furey seconded. The motion carried 5–0.
The commission did not receive public comment at the hearing. The approval allows the property owner to pursue construction subject to any conditions that arise during the permitting process.
