Bay Minette council approves $226,839.94 in payables and three resolutions, including employee pay incentive

The City Council of Bay Minette voted Nov. 15 to approve payables totaling $226,839.94 and to adopt three unanimous resolutions.
Councilmember Matt Franklin moved to approve the payables of $226,839.94; the motion was seconded by Councilmember Mike Phillips and carried unanimously.
The council then approved Resolution 1121-07 to engage Frazier Lanier Company, Inc., as investment banker and to authorize execution of a warrant purchase agreement related to the issuance of General Obligation Warrants, Series 2021. The motion to adopt the resolution was seconded and carried unanimously.
Councilmembers also approved Resolution 1121-08, a revision to Resolution 1121-04 correcting a scrivener's error; the revision authorizes a one-time pay incentive of $250 for department heads, $150 for full-time employees and $50 for part-time employees. Finally, the council adopted Resolution 1121-09 granting a rental-fee waiver for the Carol Hodgson Multipurpose Arena for an event by the Alabama Junior Rodeo Association. All three resolutions passed unanimously.
No council or citizen comments were recorded after the resolutions, and the meeting was adjourned.
