The City Council of the City of Bay Minette approved $388,026.19 in payables and adopted Resolution 1221-01 to dispose of 14 wood pews with blue upholstery during a regular meeting on Dec. 6, 2021, at City Hall.
Mayor Robert A. Wills called the meeting to order and the roll call established a quorum; Councilmember Shannon Clemmons was absent. Councilmember William Taylor gave the invocation and Councilmember Mike Phillips led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Councilmember William Taylor moved to approve the consent agenda, which included minutes of the Nov. 15, 2021 council meeting and work session; Councilmember Matt Franklin seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. Separately, Councilmember Mike Phillips moved to approve payables totaling $388,026.19; Councilmember Pete Sellers seconded and the vote was unanimous.
Mayor Wills read a thank‑you card from Bob Zarr recognizing Veterans Day events. Later in the meeting, Mayor Wills asked the council to approve Resolution 1221-01, described on the agenda as a disposal of public property for 14 wood pews with blue upholstery. Councilmember Matt Franklin moved to adopt the resolution; Councilmember William Taylor seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
