The Highway Department received approval to purchase a Cat telehandler for $110,000 (motion by Terry Spencer, seconded by Bob Spencer). Both purchases were approved unanimously.
Following a public comment from Vic Whalen, chair of the Baraboo Bluff ATV Club, the committee approved adding another loop to the Hogsback ATV/UTV trail (motion by Bryant Hazard, seconded by Valerie McAuliffe). Committee member Bob Spencer recused himself from that discussion and action. The committee also approved a special-event request to host a Boys & Girls Club fundraiser on the courthouse lawn on June 19, 2026 (motion by Bryant Hazard, seconded by Mark Waldon).
Committee members voted to reject all bids for the courthouse digital-controls project and directed that the project be rebid after the scope is adjusted (motion by Bob Spencer, seconded by Terry Spencer).
