Lemon Grove board accepts 2023–24 audit and approves first interim budget

The Lemon Grove School District Governing Board voted unanimously on Dec. 12, 2023, to accept the 2023–24 Audit Report and to approve the First Interim Budget Report for the current fiscal year.
The Audit Report was presented as Item 5.A and the motion to approve was moved by Trustee Cheryl Robertson and seconded by Trustee Yajaira Preciado. The First Interim Budget Report (Item 5.B) was similarly moved and seconded and carried unanimously. The minutes record no further conditions or abstentions on these approvals.
These approvals complete the district’s regular midyear financial review and allow staff to proceed with implementation under the adopted budget assumptions. No additional funding details or dollar totals beyond what appears in the board packet were included in the minutes; staff will provide detailed budget documents as required by district policy.
