The meeting record notes that the advance public notice for the special meeting was posted at 2:52 p.m. on Aug. 12, 2024 in the Garfield County Clerk's office, the office of the County Commissioners, the first-floor bulletin board of the Garfield County Courthouse and the outside bulletin board in Enid, Oklahoma. The meeting was led by Reese Wedel, chairman, who opened the session with the Pledge of Allegiance.
