Fulton County commissioners approve $281,921.91 in payables, personnel changes and $160,000 opioid-settlement plan

Fulton County commissioners on Tuesday approved $281,921.91 in payables, authorized personnel actions in the Domestic Relations department, confirmed appointments and reappointments to county boards, and approved a $160,000 plan to expand Certified Recovery Specialist services.

Commissioner Randy H. Bunch called the Dec. 16 meeting to order. Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve the Dec. 9, 2025 Commissioners' meeting minutes and the Dec. 9 Retirement Board minutes; both motions carried unanimously. Commissioner Hervey P. Commissioner Bunch moved to approve the 2026 Commissioners' meeting dates for public advertisement in the Fulton County newspaper; the motion carried.

The board reviewed a plan from Executive Development Director Julie Dovey to use $160,000 in Opioid Settlement Funds "to expand Certified Recovery Specialist services by adding another CRS to the Fulton County Family Partnership Team."
