A committee member told the Daggett County Municipal Building Authority on March 3 that the county's new water treatment plant "should be making water by the end of the month." The member said recent equipment tests were successful and that crews are finishing stainless-steel piping and integrating the SCADA control system.
The committee member said the current construction allows for future growth and that the system is being installed with expandability in mind. "It's been tremendous," the member added, thanking county staff and specifically noting the efforts of Trevor in advancing the project.
The update did not include a firm date for full commissioning beyond the month-end estimate. The Authority did not take formal action on the project during the meeting; the report was presented as an update and discussion point. Staff will continue final hookups and SCADA integration before bringing any requests for further authority approval.
