The Nelson County Commission on Jan. 7 unanimously approved amendments to the county’s 2024 budget, amended the assistant State's Attorney contract with Yunker Law Firm to $72,000 annually and signed several contracts including Department of Transportation bridge replacement contracts and Vanguard Appraisals agreements.
Commissioner Cameron Swenson moved to approve the Dec. 17 meeting minutes as amended; Commissioner Mike Haugland seconded and all members voted yes. The commission then approved the amended agenda after adding items for the State's Attorney, contracts, the Water Board and a holiday policy.
