At the May 5 meeting the Nelson County Commissioners handled routine business including approving prior minutes, adopting the agenda and authorizing payment of bills.
Commissioner Maynard Loibl moved and Commissioner Don Fougner seconded approval of the April 6 and April 11, 2022 meeting minutes; all members voted yes. The board then approved the meeting agenda after adding two items—ARPA funds and an update on the Law Enforcement Center—on a motion by Commissioner Steve Forde, seconded by Commissioner Loibl; that motion carried unanimously.
Near the meeting’s close, Commissioner Steve Forde moved and Commissioner Cody Johnson seconded payment of all listed bills. On a roll-call vote all members voted yes and the board approved payment. The meeting was adjourned on a motion by Commissioner Maynard Loibl, seconded by Commissioner Cody Johnson.
These routine approvals were recorded by the county auditor in the minutes; the register of bills and supporting vouchers are maintained in county records and were not reproduced in the meeting minutes.
