At its June 3 meeting Nelson County Commissioners approved several routine items and appointments.
Commissioner Don Fougner moved and Commissioner Cody Johnson seconded the appointment of Angie Twete and the reappointment of Naomi Ferguson to the School District Annexation Board for three-year terms; the motion passed with all members voting yes. The board also approved three omitted properties — one in Lakota City and two in Leval Township — following a presentation by Michelle Linstad.
The commission voted to remove Mary Langley’s name and add Madison Crisman’s to the Eastern Plains Human Service Zone credit card. Kristin Shea of Polar Communications presented a quote for a new courthouse phone system; the board did not act on the phone system immediately and said it would consider the proposal further.
The board approved paying all listed bills by roll-call vote and then adjourned the meeting.
