Argo audit: clean opinion but General Fund expenditures exceeded revenue by $10,269

Joe Chapman of Cork, Hill & Company presented the City of Argo's financial audit for the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, 2025, and issued a clean audit opinion, reporting that the audit results were favorable overall.

Chapman told the council that while the audit opinion was clean, the General Fund recorded expenditures that exceeded revenue by $10,269 for the fiscal year.
