Several residents and candidates were listed on the agenda to address the council, including Joey Stevens (running for County Commission Place 3) and Bryan Newell (seeking the U.S. House nomination in Alabama’s 3rd District), but the minutes record their appearances only as agenda items and contain no statements attributed to them.
